CUSTARD CREAM COOKIES






Ingredients :

. Butter - 200 g (room temperature )
. Powdered sugar - 100 g
. Vanilla essence -  1 tsp
. Custard powder - 85 g
. Flour - 225 g ( 1 1/2 cup )

Filling :

. Butter - 115 g
. Custard powder - 30 g
. Powdered sugar - 150 g
. Milk - 1 1/2 tbsp
. Vanilla essence - 2 tsp

Method :

1. Line baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla essence and custard powder. Add flour and mix into a ball.


3. Divide into 4. Roll out 1 piece between 2 sheets of parchment paper.


4. Cut into circles  (or any other shapes) with cookie cutter. Dip the cutter in flour to avoid sticking.


5. Dip a fork in flour and use to make holes.


6. Arrange in prepared baking sheets and bake at 180 degree for 10 to 11 minutes.


7. Mix all filling ingredients well and spread onto 1 biscuit.


8. Then top with the other 1 biscuit. Enjoy.......
