EGGLESS CHURROS FOR SFC # 4



I joined a wonderful group sweet fantasy club, host by preethi of simply tadka. For jan month challenge i choose churros. Churros are named as spanish doughnut. Churros are fried in oil until crispy and sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with chocolate syrup. Thanks Preeti  for recipe.

Ingredients :

. Maida / flour - 1 cup
. Baking powder - 1 tsp
. Oil - 1 tsp
. Salt - a pinch
. Cinnamon - 1 small piece
. Sugar - 5-6 tbsp

Method :

1. Ground cinnamon and sugar in a blender and keep aside.

1. Combine flour, salt, oil and baking powder together. Add enough water and make a smooth dough. It looks like cake batter.

2. Heat oil in a pan. Fill the dough into a piping bag and squeeze into hot oil. 

3. cook on low medium flame until all the sides turn brown colour.

4. Drain and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
