THARI KANJI / RAVA KACHIYATHU / SEMOLINA DRINK


Ingredients :

. Milk - 500 ml
. Rava/ sooji - 2 1/2 spoon
. Ghee - 1 1/2 tsp
. Cinnamon / Patta - 2 small pieces
. Cloves / Gramboo - 2-3
. Cardamom - 2
. Cashew - 4 broken
. Kismis / Raisin - 5
. Shallots / ulli - 1 large
. Salt - a pinch
. Sugar - to taste


Method :

1. Heat ghee in a pot. Add chopped shallot and fry well. Then add cinnamon, cloves, Cardamom. Saute for couple of seconds. Then add cashews and kismis. Fry well.

2. Add milk and rava. Cook on  medium flame until rava is cooked.  Add a pinch salt and enough sugar.


3. Mix well and boil for 1-2 minutes.



4. Serve hot.
